RCM Teacher-Certified piano & theory teacher and Piano Teachers Federation member Vivien Tse is based in Burnaby, offering lessons to students aged 4 and up, for kids, teens, and adults, from beginner to advanced piano, in a wide variety of musical genres, for fun or for exams, as well as theory lessons in rudiments, harmony & counterpoint, analysis, and history. Lessons are tailored to each student’s specific needs and goals.
Vivien has been teaching for 11 years since 2007. Her students learn for fun and/or participate in Royal Conservatory exams, festivals, and competitions, achieving high honours. As a music teacher, Vivien believes in creating positive learning experiences for each student, making lessons fun and exciting whenever possible. She challenges her students to push themselves to their highest potential. As a passionate musician, she loves to pass on her love of music to her students, and believes that a love for music helps to create a positive attitude towards practicing and merry music-making!
