Burnaby piano and music theory teacher and RCM-certified teacher specialist Vivien Tse offers private lessons for all levels of piano and theory, from beginner to advanced piano, rudiments, harmony & counterpoint, analysis, and history. Vivien accepts students aged 7 and up. Lessons are tailored to each student’s specific needs and goals. All lessons are currently held online.
Vivien Tse is an accomplished pianist and a qualified & highly experienced teacher, who has been teaching for 17 years since 2007. She teaches in a variety of musical genres, including classical, pop, R&B, Broadway, and more! As a music teacher, Vivien believes in creating positive learning experiences for each student, making lessons fun and interesting whenever possible. She challenges her students to push themselves to their highest potential. To create well-rounded music students, her lessons can also include improvisation, composition, and learning to play by ear. As a passionate musician, Vivien loves to pass on her love of music to her students, and believes that a love for music helps to create a positive attitude towards practicing and merry music-making!
